Sip & Stem: Bay to Bouquet
Thursday, August 13, 2026 | 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Maryland grows it. You'll arrange it.
Bay to Bouquet is a hands-on floral design experience rooted entirely in what's blooming right here, right now. Every stem on the table was grown on a Maryland farm; locally sourced, peak-season, and chosen because this is exactly what August on the Chesapeake looks like when it's at its most beautiful.
In this workshop at Blackwall Hitch in Annapolis's waterfront Eastport neighborhood, you'll build a lush seasonal arrangement using blooms straight from local soil. Think dahlias, zinnias, celosia, lisianthus, and whatever the season hands us, in a color palette that makes you take in the season. The colors of a Bay summer, gathered and arranged by you.
Our team will walk you through structure, layering, and balance so your design feels intentional and full, whether you're picking up a pair of snips for the first time or you've been cutting from your garden for years. Along the way, we'll share a little about where your flowers came from, because knowing the story behind what you're holding makes it mean something more.
No floral background needed. No rules. Just your hands, good company, and two hours to make something that feels exactly like where you live.
The Girl Dinner
Because a great night deserves great food. Blackwall Hitch is bringing their A-game with a curated "Girl Dinner" menu included with every ticket: shareable bites designed for exactly this kind of evening. Think Caesar salad, truffle and parmesan fries, and the kind of food that's just right for grazing between snips. You'll also choose your sip: a Dirty Hitch Martini or a glass of wine.
What's Included:
Guided floral design workshop
A locally sourced, seasonal arrangement in an elegant vase to take home
Flower food and care instructions
A curated Girl Dinner from Blackwall Hitch
A dirty martini, glass of wine, or handcrafted mocktail
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. You must be 21 years old or older to consume alcohol.
One ticket per person.
